First off take a look at: http://www.programtrading.com/buysell.htm My data provider provides a symbol for the S&P 500 premium. I chart it on a one minute RT chart and put in markers for the buy, sell, and fair value levels, as well as alerts. Visually it is easy to see when these levels are breached. But study the url, poke around in it.
Of times when buy or sell levels are hit, it portends a market move in that direction of some duration, not all the time though.
